Praise and Prayer for 7/5

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. - Proverbs 27:17 (NIV 1984)

This Wednesday 7/5 we have a prayer meeting in the church (room 101) that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.

Prayer highlights:
  • Praise God for using the series on "Iron Sharpens Iron" to teach us how to sharpen one another to make us more effective for the work God has called us to do. Pray that God will help us to identify the people that God has placed in our lives to sharpen us and for us to sharpen.
  • Pray for the Pathway's mission team to Portland as they prepare for the upcoming trip on July 16-22. Pray that they will be an encouragement and help as they share God's love with the people they meet. Pray also for transformational change for both team members and those they serve.
  • Continue to pray for the Sunday Breakfast ministry, that it may be used to build connections and share God's love with our local community. Pray especially for those in need to find a place to be refreshed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray also for all our volunteers to trust God for growing this ministry.
  • Pray for our leadership team as they are in the planning stages for making discipleship part of Pathway's DNA. Pray for wisdom from God and unity in Christ, for trust in God and following His ways, and for the Pathway body to be all in to develop mature and multiplying followers of Jesus.
