Praise and Prayer for 9/6

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. - Hebrews 10:19-25 (NIV 1984)

This Wednesday 9/6 we have a prayer meeting in the church (room 101) that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.

Prayer highlights:
  • Praise God for a wonderful All Church Retreat this past month, building connections and strengthening bonds, and taking time to "breathe" in worship, prayer and sharing.
  • Pray for our upcoming series on worship and for transformation as we learn about true worship and are moved to worship daily through our lives and corporately as a body of Christ.
  • Pray for our life groups and the push to encourage our congregation to commit to a life group for at least a three-month period. Pray for life together in support, encouragement and accountability. Pray for discipleship to take place in our life groups.
  • Continue to pray for the Sunday Breakfast ministry, that it may be used to build connections and share God's love with our local community. Pray especially for those in need to find a place to be refreshed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray also for all our volunteers to trust God for growing this ministry.
