Praise and Prayer for 2/4

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:12-14 (NIV 1984)

This Wednesday 2/4 we have a prayer meeting in the church conference room that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.

Answered prayers:

• Thank God for guiding the pastoral search team as they spent much time in search of and prayerfully considered candidates for the lead pastoral role, and have now recommended a candidate to the ELT for consideration. Pray for the candidate and the ELT as they meet this coming Thursday evening and seek God's leading to reveal His will for the candidate and Pathway.
• Praise God for continued participation and commitment to the Unleashing Hope church campaign. As we learned about raising the right expectations, where our eyes are on the giver of gifts, pray with anticipation on what God is going to do in and through our lives.

New prayer requests:

Active prayer requests:

• Pray for the Unleashing Hope church campaign that started on January 18 and runs for 7 consecutive weeks. Pray for God to help us to make time available in our schedules and to commit to participating in this campaign. Pray for those you might invite and pray for transformation and increasing hope in our Lord.
• Pray for the pastoral search process as we seek God's direction for the next lead pastor to guide our church in following Jesus to build His kingdom. Pray for God's wisdom and insight for the pastoral search team as they faithfully serve in this capacity. Pray for our next lead pastor as God prepares his heart and calls him to guide our church.
• Pray for continued progress in working toward possible solutions to our rental situation and finding favor with Sleepy Hollow and its investors. Pray that we will follow God's leading and represent Him well.
• Pray for our response to the challenge from Pastor Brian to consider how God would use our treasures, time, and talent over the next three months.
• Pray for wisdom and insight as the church leadership looks into ministry growth.
• Pray for God's wisdom and deliverance as the ELT continues to look into the church finances.
• Pray for our Life Groups and the focus to experiencing life together. Pray for development of leaders and for groups to desire to reach out to help others connect with a group. Pray for Pastor Matt as he leads this important ministry with the aim of helping our congregation to grow in Christ and to be mission focused.
• Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Dublin and surrounding community. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Open Heart Kitchen to help serve meals to those in need in our community and continue to be in prayer for this ministry. May God's love and hope be experienced in our community.

• Praise Him for specific evidences of His glory, power, wisdom, grace, mercy, faithfulness, love, or other attributes in our lives this week
• Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week
• Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes
• Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation
• Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission
