Praise and Prayer for 5/27

Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. - 2 Corinthians 1:9-11 (NIV 1984)

There is no prayer meeting at church this week but we join for a time of prayer every Wednesday night from 8-9pm.

• Continue to pray for the upcoming mission trip to Portland in the middle of July. Thank God for the volunteers that have made a commitment to go on this trip. Prayerfully consider God's leading in your involvement with the Portland mission trip and faithfully pray for the logistics, touched lives during and after the trip, and blessings of transformation for all our volunteers.
• Continue to pray for the lead pastoral transition period. Pray for Pastor Brian and family and Pastor Ken and family.
• Pray for continued progress in working toward possible solutions to our rental situation and finding favor with Sleepy Hollow and its investors. Pray that we will follow God's leading and represent Him well.
• Pray for wisdom and insight as the church leadership looks into ministry growth.
• Pray for God's wisdom and deliverance as the ELT continues to look into the church finances.
• Pray for our Life Groups and the focus to experiencing life together. Pray for development of leaders and for groups to desire to reach out to help others connect with a group. Pray for Pastor Matt as he leads this important ministry with the aim of helping our congregation to grow in Christ and to be mission focused.
• Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Dublin and surrounding community. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Open Heart Kitchen to help serve meals to those in need in our community and continue to be in prayer for this ministry. May God's love and hope be experienced in our community.

• Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week
• Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes
• Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation
• Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission
