Praise and Prayer for 12/9

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. - Ephesians 4:15-16 (NIV 1984)

There is no prayer meeting at church this week but we join for a time of prayer every Wednesday night from 8-9pm.

Answered prayers:

• Praise God for the Women's Tea this past Saturday with over 120 women in attendance and with more than half coming outside of Pathway. It was a blessed time for all who attended and all who served. Pray for intentional followup with guests, especially those that may have questions about God's love and those that were touched by His grace.
• Thank God for His guidance and for the attendance and participation in the town hall meeting this past Sunday. Pray that the Pathway body will unite in Christ, with each part doing its work as we support, grow and build up the body in love for His kingdom purposes.

Active prayer requests:

• Pray for the Advent series, for intentional invitations and that God will use the services to touch the hearts of those in attendance, especially those that are in need of hope, which is only found in our Lord Jesus. 
• Pray for the planning and outreach to the Wexford Way community. Pray for the Lord's hand in the building of relationships, imparting of practical skills, and opportunities to share God's love and hope with those living in the Wexford Way community.
• Pray for continued progress in working toward possible solutions to our rental situation and finding favor with Sleepy Hollow and its investors. Pray that we will follow God's leading and represent Him well.
• Pray for wisdom and insight as the church leadership looks into ministry growth.
• Pray for God's wisdom and deliverance as the ELT continues to look into the church finances.
• Pray for our Life Groups and the focus to experiencing life together. Pray for development of leaders and for groups to desire to reach out to help others connect with a group.
• Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Dublin and surrounding community. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Open Heart Kitchen to help serve meals to those in need in our community and continue to be in prayer for this ministry. May God's love and hope be experienced in our community.

• Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week
• Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes
• Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation
• Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission
