Praise and Prayer for 2/17

I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints. - Philemon 4-7 (NIV 1984)

This Wednesday 2/17 we have a prayer meeting in the church conference room that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.

Answered prayers:

• Praise God for those He has brought to Pathway this year, and for the energy and focus to welcome, connect, and spiritually grow the Pathway body. Pray that God will raise up new leaders and servants to help support and grow the ministries at Pathway as God leads.

New prayer requests:

• Pray for God's movement in each of our hearts as we are challenged to pray, build relationships, invite, initiate spiritual conversations, and celebrate God's movement in the lives of those He has put in our hearts to reach for Christ.

Active prayer requests: 

• Continue to be in prayer for class participation, learning and transformation as Pastor Ken leads a 5-week course on Spiritual Conversations.
• Be in prayer for how God is going to use us individually and corporately as we go deeper in a series on Renewing the City. Pray for deepening friendships, sharing of our faith, and being generous as we serve others for God's glory
• Pray for open and humble hearts as we build Christian mentoring relationships at Pathway this year. Prayerfully consider how God would use you to be a mentor and/or be mentored. 
• Pray for the planning and outreach to the Wexford Way community. Pray for the Lord's hand in the building of relationships, imparting of practical skills, and opportunities to share God's love and hope with those living in the Wexford Way community.
• Pray for continued progress in working toward possible solutions to our rental situation and finding favor with Sleepy Hollow and its investors. Pray that we will follow God's leading and represent Him well.
• Pray for wisdom and insight as the church leadership looks into ministry growth.
• Pray for God's wisdom and deliverance as the ELT continues to look into the church finances.
• Pray for our Life Groups and the focus to experiencing life together. Pray for development of leaders and for groups to desire to reach out to help others connect with a group.
• Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Dublin and surrounding community. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Open Heart Kitchen to help serve meals to those in need in our community and continue to be in prayer for this ministry. May God's love and hope be experienced in our community.

Please incorporate the following in your prayer: 

• Praise Him for specific evidences of His glory, power, wisdom, grace, mercy, faithfulness, love, or other attributes in our lives this week
• Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week
• Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes
• Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation
• Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission
