This Wednesday 4/20 we have a prayer meeting in the church conference room that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.
- Praise God for a great start to the Moms to Moms ministry. Moms were blessed by the fellowship and connection. Thank God for the childcare volunteers and their heart of service. The moms will meet three more (biweekly) Thursdays before the summer break. Their next meeting is April 28.
- Praise God for an amazing time of corporate prayer this past Friday. Continue to pray for God to move us to draw near to Him individually and corporately to lift up His name and to align our requests to His will. We have lifted up several of our ministries before the Lord (see the new Ministry prayer requests section). We will be lifting up additional ministries before the Lord this coming Friday.
Ministry prayer requests:
- Life Groups:
- to be a ministry that brings honor and glory to God that is used to build meaningful relationships with one another and with Jesus Christ
- for God to encourage, strengthen, and build-up our Life Group leaders; for their spiritual growth and protection
- for God to transform the life of each Life Group participant through a spirit of grace, acceptance, and welcoming between each member
- Finance:
- for continued growth of the church and support from all worshippers to make PCC financially sound
- for help from the landlord with our rental expenses, whether here or at our next location
- for getting other interested parties to rent and make better use of our space
- Welcome/Greeting/Follow-up:
- for additional people who are passionate in welcoming newcomers each Sunday and are willing to help with follow-up
- for newcomers to Pathway to feel welcomed and interested in connecting with Pathway and its life groups and ministries
- for greeters to connect and be an encouragement to everyone that attends Pathway; most importantly, to share God's love
- Leadership:
- to maintain a vital and intimate relationship with God in our individual lives
- to be sensitive and responsive to the needs of our church body as shepherds
- to be faithful and open to God's leading to deal with the church's financial situation, ministries impacting our community, and a future meeting place after our current lease expires
- Pray for the Dublin Civic Pride Volunteer Day on April 30 and our involvement to join with others in the city to beautify the community. Pray for opportunities to share God's love and hope with others.
- Continue to be in prayer for the current series on prayer, and the All Church Prayer Gathering on April 15 and 22. Pray for God's Spirit to lead us as we learn and go deeper into the Lord's Prayer, and as we corporately pray for the church.
- Pray for open and humble hearts as we build Christian mentoring relationships at Pathway this year. Prayerfully consider how God would use you to be a mentor and/or be mentored.
- Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Dublin and surrounding community. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Open Heart Kitchen to help serve meals to those in need in our community and for our Food Ministry to distribute food to Wexford Way and Camille Place, and continue to be in prayer for these ministries. May God's love and hope be experienced in our community.
Please incorporate the following in your prayer:
- Praise Him for specific evidences of His glory, power, wisdom, grace, mercy, faithfulness, love, or other attributes in our lives this week.
- Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week.
- Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes.
- Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation.
- Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission.
