Praise and Prayer for 4/5

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. - John  3:16-17 (NIV 1984)

This Wednesday 4/5 we have a prayer meeting in the church (room 101) that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.

Prayer highlights:
  • Praise God that we successfully closed escrow on the Pleasanton building last month. Continue to pray for wisdom and patience as we learn to use the new facilities and make progress towards providing the best worship experience. Pray for our ministries to have God's Kingdom impact in our community.
  • Pray for the Sunday Breakfast ministry, that it may be used to build connections and share God's love with our local community. Pray especially for those in need to find a place to be refreshed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray also for all our volunteers to trust God for growing this ministry.
  • Praise God for those that are being baptized this coming Sunday. Pray for God to use their testimonies to encourage the congregation and to remind us of His amazing grace towards us.
  • Pray for the upcoming Good Friday and Easter services this month, that God will touch hearts and transform lives for His kingdom and glory. Thank you God for your indescribable love and sacrifice!

    • that all of our youth open up to each other and for our community to grow (in numbers, in faith, and in bridging age gaps from middle school, to high school, and into college)
    • that our students continue to shine the light and love of God on their campuses and at PCC; that they be leaders of faith to everyone

    • to be sensitive and responsive to the needs of our church body as shepherds
    • to be faithful and open to God's leading to deal with the church's financial situation and ministries impacting our community

  • Pray for open and humble hearts as we build Christian mentoring relationships at Pathway this year. Prayerfully consider how God would use you to be a mentor and/or be mentored.
  • Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Pleasanton and surrounding community. May God's love and hope be experienced in our community.

Please incorporate the following in your prayer:

  • Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week.
  • Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes.
  • Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation.
  • Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission.
