Praise and Prayer for 6/7

People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. - Mark 10:13-16 (NIV 1984)

This Wednesday 6/7 we have a prayer meeting in the church (room 101) that starts at 7:30pm. If you cannot join us at church, please gather with friends and family wherever you are to be in prayer for the church. Our Pathway family is united in prayer every Wednesday from 8-9pm.

Prayer highlights:
  • Praise God for using the series on "Pray Like a Child" to teach us how to approach, talk, depend, be, cry out, and trust our heavenly Father like a child. Pray that we will come to Him like a child and grow our intimacy with God.
  • Pray for Missions Sunday on June 11 as we receive an update on the missionaries we support, and learn about God's heart for the nations. Thank God for our missions team and pray for God to continue to use them to lead the Pathway body in our role around the world. Pray for God's leading as He shows us how we can be in support and participation of this ministry.
  • Continue to pray for the Sunday Breakfast ministry, that it may be used to build connections and share God's love with our local community. Pray especially for those in need to find a place to be refreshed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray also for all our volunteers to trust God for growing this ministry.
  • Pray for increased passion to understand and know God through His Word and the leading of His Spirit, to delight in the Lord and the things He delights in, and to live our lives full of joy and sacrificial love as faithful followers of Christ.
