There is no prayer meeting at church this week but we join for a time of prayer every Wednesday night from 8-9pm. As a reminder, please incorporate the following in your prayer:
- Praise Him for specific evidences of His glory, power, wisdom, grace, mercy, faithfulness, love, or other attributes in our lives this week
- Give thanks with grateful and joyful hearts for specific blessings we have received this week
- Come before Him with humble hearts and pray for our lives to align with His purposes
- Pray for Pathway's leadership to seek Him first in all decision making, to lead by example, to be passionate and committed to growing our congregation as followers of Christ, and to receive encouragement from God and our congregation
- Pray for commitment to God's vision and mission for Pathway and our responsibility as part of the body to fulfill the mission
- Praise God for answering our prayers to provide an additional teacher for the children's ministry. Please continue to pray for additional volunteers and teachers to reduce the load for those who are currently serving and to bless their faithfulness with fruit bearing in the lives of the children.
- Praise God for getting our SD Mission team safely to their destination this past Sunday. Keep Pastor Tim in prayer as he is struggling with a cough and has not been feeling well. Praise God for how He has already used the team and how He is going to bless their time in SD. Please visit pccmissions.tumbler.com for updates on the team.
- Pray for our mission team that is going to Limpopo, Africa on August 25-31. The youth have contributed their current funds to help Journey finish the school in Limpopo. Future fundraising funds will go towards the distribution of aids/hiv caregiver kits alongside Journey.
- Praise God for answered prayer in getting the Pathway family excited about going to the church retreat. As of this past Sunday there were only about ten spaces available. Please continue to be in prayer for the retreat and for the strengthening of bonds, and time with God.
- Pray for God's wisdom and deliverance as the ELT continues to look into the church finances.
- Praise God for using classes to help us grow in our spiritual walk with Christ. The women continue to meet on Sunday morning for the rest of the summer to study the book of James. Pray for our congregation to commit to spending time with God and His word, to listen intently to His voice and to obey when He calls us to apply what we learn.
- Pray for our Small Groups transitioning to Life Groups and the focus to experiencing life together. Pray for development of leaders and for groups to desire to reach out to help others connect with a group. Pray for Pastor Matt as he leads this important ministry with the aim of helping our congregation to grow in Christ and to be mission focused.
- Pray for God's wisdom and leading as we minister in the Dublin and surrounding community. Thank God for the opportunity to partner with Open Heart Kitchen to help serve meals to those in need in our community and continue to be in prayer for this ministry. Be in prayer for the East Bay Stand Down in September to serve our veterans. As we prepare for the annual Family Fall Festival please pray for the preparation, volunteers and for those that God will lead through our doors. May God's love and hope be experienced through all these ministries.
